I, of course, have to second Jon's recommendation.  <s>

Zope does have a learning curve but the past year has seen a
number of new tools including the Content Management Framework
which I assume Medzope is based on???

Also the documentation has improved by 'leaps and bounds'.  The
"Zope Book" (ISBN: 0-7357-1137-2) is in print and available via
the Zope site under an open content license.  The are a host of
other documents available on zope.org as well as an EXCELLENT
mailing list.
