The short answer is Yes.

The long answer is that you need to install Zope, which you can do as a
user, or as root. There are pros and cons to both methods, depending on
whether you're running it on an intranet or the web, and whether you want to
use Apache (or another webserver) as a "front-end". Zope has a built-in
webserver, but most people use Apache when running it on WWW sites.

I'm currently finishing off a new version of medzope, with extra
functionality and nicer UI, which will be ready by Joseph's deadline of 27th
September. But we're already using the current version to run our own
sites - www.medzope.org and www.pricom.co.uk, and we have our first
paying-customers going live in the next few days (Pricom is a commercial
company selling hosting, installation, training, customisation, etc. for
medzope - we used to work for evil closed-source medical software companies,
but now we've converted to the open-source philosophy :-)
