I don't think we can sell the stationary terminal for
under US $600.00 with touch screen and mounting
hardware. Most reasonably rugged terminals sell for
$1200.00+ Maybe if we can get enough orders we can get
a volume price break from our component distributors.

The touch screen adds about $50.00 to the cost of the
unit.  Without the touch screen the system can have a
regular keyboard plugged into it via PS2.

This is a cost issue most vendors use PCMCIA to
support wireless it's typically not user accessible-
ours isn't.

USB is cheap for clients (palm pilots, PDAs,
printers,etc) but the host side requires reasonably
sophisticated controller--we are currently
investigating it:-)
