Using the data in the the tables referenced above for infant weights, I 
put together a
little program to generate growth curves  in a Tk canvas widget.  The 
data from the tables is read into memory and used
to generate the curves on the fly.  A parameter is passed in when the 
program starts
so it will use the appropriate data from the table depending on  the 
patient's sex.  The dates, the patient's age and the  weights are 
extracted on the fly from the patient's chart notes in the Tkfp EMR. 
 The graph is then generated  using bezier smoothed lines between the 
coordinates.  This one just does the weight curve, plotting the 10th, 
50th and 90th percentiles.  The Tk canvas widget has the ability to  
save itself as
postscript, which then can be converted to other image formats using a 
number of readily available image conversion utilities for display in a 
web page.  I used "convert" part of the
Image Magick utilities available for Linux to convert it to  a .jpg.
