These are currently being enhanced and extended for use in medical 
surveillance.

They definitely have COAS.  The spoke about it at the recent JavaOne 
conference.

That effort was based on the 3M PIDS and COAS servers.

I'm anxious for that.  I've not been able to get an XML schema from the 
GEHR work that I could actually run through an
XML schema program.  I think the COAS model should be able to handle the 
GEHR/OpenEHR models quite well, if
I can get one that I can manipulate successfully.
