Hello Everyone,

We are organizing an "Open Source for e-Government" 2-day conference
sponsored by The George Washington University, WHO and UN among
others. This conference will be held in Washington, DC on Oct. 17-18
(see www.egovos.org for more info).

I am putting together an "Open Source for e-Health" session which in
this particular conference will be focused on Open Source uses in
public health (surveillance, early detection, open standards, etc.).

I have already invited the OpenEMed group and folks from the EPA/CDC
who are working on XML web services-based integration of health and
environmental information.

I would like to ask if anyone knows of any other ongoing projects in
this area that I should consider bringing to this conference.

Many thanks.

Nick Guzman
