I was one of the guinea pigs for the web based medicalogic project crash and burn. The best thing i can say is the free lap top computer that i ws given to test it out still works! david derauf ----- Original Message ----- From: "Douglas Carnall" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Robin S. His most memorable quote was that he was "betting the future of his company on the success of the internet." I haven't followed it for a while, but it looks like his company followed a conventional .com trajectory. the link at the foot of the page to a physician's EMR comparison site (http://elmr.com) seems not to be working, but google came up with this: http://www.elmr-electronic-medical-records-emr.com/ which appears to be the same thing. Looks like Dr Voelker has a good take on what really matters to physicians: ease of data entry, with a spreadsheet model predicting that: "f a note takes more than 1.5 minutes longer than usual on an EMR you may lose money! (Play with the numbers and see for yourself)" unfortunately I was unable to play because I didn't have " Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or later and the Microsoft Office Web Components" installed. ho hum Regards to all, D.
