I must correct what seems to have been a misperception. In discussions regarding options for the development of an open terminology, the small organizing group is seeking funding from several foundations, none of which has been approved. The Markle Foundation is funding a larger effort for health information standards acceleration in general, Connecting for Health, managed by the EHealth Initiative.
