Adrian, Sorry, the fact that software _typically_ come from programmers is not interesting, even if we are talking about health-related software. :-) The interesting issue, for the OpenHealth list and this thread, is whether third-party vendors can take the place of in-house programmers, who have been the traditional group of open source developers.
