1.  terminology is converging.  A cooperative dictionary would assist that 
process, and also become easier to maintain as it occurs.

2.  Translation may not be the exact problem.  It is more a small amount of 
duplication, where for instance a table might contain an entry for 
acetaminophen, and another line for paracetamol, whether it were a table 
holding tablet sizes, or a table holding warnings, contraindications, links 
to reference sources...  no big deal, you get the same data whichever you 
pick.
