I have had some preliminary conversations with them, via Dan Johnson, who mentioned openEHR to them, among other things. They told us that they already had a solution and would have it rolled out in less than two years. I can hardly wait to know what marvel awaits us all...

I believe it has been said before. AAFP should make use of/support current projects rather than start from scratch.
