Without having read the study, as industry news it recalls Murphy's Law applied to complex information systems (i.e., Computerization enables you to make bigger mistakes faster). One e-Pharmacy presentation I attended last summer warned about the ability of e-Prescription systems to perfect the transmission of a prescribing error. This study does us the favor of trying to quantify that risk.
