I am a little concerned a to why GNUMED is taling so
long. What is the FOSS that I can recommend to a
General Practitioner which actually works and is easy
to use.

I suggested OpenEMR with the Mandrake installer to a
couple of GPs. I have not used it though.

OSCAR will be more difficult to cope with i think.

tkFP is also something I have heard about.
