I would suggest using a more newbie-friendly language.

We often look at glucose readings over the course of a day
or so for one thing. That way we can discover whether the
treatment regimen is adequate for the way one's diabetes
behaves. The other interesting graph is surely HbA1c over
longer time spans which documents how good blood glucose
control is *on average*. It'd also be interesting to have a
sliding graph of blood glucose that covers, say, a week so
you can demonstrate to someone else that those high sugars
were only due to that one-time feast while else you are
following a responsible diet.
