OSCAR will do much of what you want (I am one of the British Columbia OSCAR
users)
The features most important to me are:
- Assist in meeting Medicare DOQ guidelines.
I don't know those guidelines so can't comment
- Track preventive screening - know which patients are overdue for
Pap, etc.
OSCAR does that rather well already and will be adding reporting tools for
Chronic Disease Management in the very near future.
- Templates, reminders, reports etc. configurable by MD.
OSCAR does that.
- Improve documentation and coding.
Most EMRs will do that :)
- Integrated practice management (scheduling and billing software).
Great scheduler - but billing is Canadian (Ontario and BC modules)
- If possible... patient interface that allows patient self-scheduling
for appointments, patient access to own health info, secure email and
messaging.
....being worked on.
