As long as any organization is going to take a stand on licenses then this will be the inevitable outcome and will force that organization to pre-select the licenses they will accept for inclusion. I don't see any end in sight of the disputes among the various licenses nor the possibility of new one's emerging. So, if your intent is to promote the broadest uptake of FOSS and you want to be the FOSS police, then I don't see a way out of this conundrum, short of selecting the acceptable licenses.
