I found the problem - it is in the patch that we apply for the Lustre product.

If I keep this patch out, IPoIB builds correctly. We will be studying the patch
to see what we can change ...
 
And the backport patch that Hal mentionned in a previous email (https://openib.org/svn/gen2/branches/backport/) took care of 4 unresolved symbols in ib_uat.ko (class_destroy, class_create, class_device_create, class_device_destroy).
 
So all drivers are now built - thank you both for your help.
