The reason is that this document is not user-specific and blankets
everything under the yahoo.com domain.
This covers my own objections well.
Rather, I'd want that to be in this document:

I have the beginning of some ideas about joint ownership/sponsorship
of sites (such as Flickr), and the above URL across multiple domains;
I'm not sure competition and redundancy can be reconciled, though.
