Hi,
As a suggestion could the Device Driver Utility be modified so that it
allowed testing and reporting of successful and unsuccessful configurations.
Successful configurations would be the were the LiveCD or OpenIndiana
installation is running and all devices are identified and are reported
to work.
Unsuccessful configurations would be were the LiveCD or OpenIndiana
installation is running but all the devices are not identified or not
reported to work.
For obvious reasons, Reported not to Boot would need to be entered via a
Web form.
Using the modified DDU would allow a hit list of common drivers
effecting users to be created.
