No. They represent files that have been removed and are being held open on the client. They're a required part of NFS to provide UNIX file semantics, and the whole point of them is that they're *NOT* hidden from the client. They wouldn't work at all if they were hidden. Close the file, and the problem should go away, as the server will then remove the .nfs file. It's possible that if the system crashes, the files could be abandoned. I suspect that's rarely the case. But you could use a cron job to find them if you were concerned about it.
