Not sure if this is related to your issue, and I haven't tried oi151a7 on a Live DVD.
But I did a few installations via Live DVDs of earlier versions, and managed to fail booting once. It is resolved when I burn the same content on a 2nd DVD and try again. HTH, Alex.
