Ken,

Thank you for the reply, I have already tried the pfexec pkg rebuild-index;
pfexec pkg refresh --full ; pfexec pkg image-update -nv This is what gives the
errors I am getting.

And fresh install is not a realistic option at the moment, due to their being
no easy way to rollback to 148 if it gives more problems than it fixes (or
doesn't fix.)

John

John,

Best to schedule maintenance and backup the server data/apps. Install oi_151a8.
You can update from that point.

If that is not preferred, you can follow these notes from the wiki:
http://wiki.openindiana.org/oi/Upgrading+OpenIndiana

Notes:
1. pfexec pkg rebuild-index
2. pfexec pkg refresh --full
3. pfexec pkg image-update

I get the error.

Is it possible to upgrade to an interim version, e.g. 151a7 or any other
workarounds that would be simply to perform on a fairly vitial production
server?

Thanks

John
