The simpliest way is use GDM from oi-userland before it was marked obsolete.

        remove or recommit git commits related Remove gdm, metacity, ...; 
Commit messages:

        Remove gnome-session 
        Remove gnome-menus 
        Remove gnome-panel 
        Remove libgnomekbd 
        Remove gnome-desktop 
        Remove gdm 
        Remove metacity 
        libgweather: update to 3.24.1 
        gnome/config/gconf 




         update COMPONENT_REVISION 


        unlock version
