I'm extremely concerned about the situation I've encountered.

I'm trying to bring up OI on Oracle Solaris 11 certified hardware. 2020.10
crashes booting the Desktop Live Image. The 2021.04_rc1 Live Image works fine,
but the installed image crashes on reboot.

This is disastrous for the future of OI. If it is not fixed, OI is dead. I
feel confident that I can determine the source of my problem and fix it.
However, I only have a few hardware platforms to test releases on. Fixing my
problem doesn't make OI reliable on other systems. If we do not achieve
reliable operation on many platforms it's "game over".

We need to have multiple people test a release candidate on as many pieces of
hardware as possible. We can't do everything, but we can do better. Release
decisions need to be based on a sign off from multiple people testing a release
candidate, not on a schedule.
