Hello!

Since a few weeks (or days?) on an updated system i have the issue, that the mouse disappears from time to time.

The workaround is to disconnect and reconnect the USB connection.

dmesg has no related information regarding the loss, but the Xorg.log has:

$ tail /var/log/Xorg.0.log
[   362.780] (--) NVIDIA(GPU-0): DFP-5: 960.0 MHz maximum pixel clock
[   362.780] (--) NVIDIA(GPU-0):

[  5058.512] (II) UnloadModule: "mouse"

It is a USB 2 mouse connected to  a USB 3 port:

Apr 28 08:48:47 dell6510 usba: [ID 912658 kern.info] USB 2.0 device (usb46d,c05b) operating at low speed (USB 1.x) on USB 3.0 root hub: mouse@3, hid36 at bus address 3

Anyone else?

How do i see the eventually happening hal messages?

Greetings,

Stephan
