Hmm, I already have this:
pkg install
pkg://openindiana.org/system/virtualbox@6.1.40,5.11-2022.0.0.0:20221108T082551Z
No updates necessary for this image.
and the GUI gives the GSOAP error in the ticket.

I am trying to resolve the issue detailed on the bug tracker here:
https://www.illumos.org/issues/15768
any ideas on how to deal with this until a new VB package is available?

Hello!
I use
pfexec pkg install
pkg://openindiana.org/system/virtualbox@6.1.40,5.11-2022.0.0.0:20221108T082551Z
pfexec pkg freeze
pkg://openindiana.org/system/virtualbox@6.1.40,5.11-2022.0.0.0:20221108T082551Z
to get a working GUI.
We have to get some more libs PR'ed for rebuild with GCC-10 until this
is solved, and maybe the non-starting mate-system-monitor..
Regards,
Stephan

Ah i see now...
In oi-userland we need a PR for a virtualbox with a COMPONENT_REVISION=2
for example (or even better an update to 6.1.46),
maybe the vboxwebsrv will run again, but we will fail in the GUI with
the GCC-7-lib-problem..
i think we have to solve out this GCC-7 problem first..
Regards,
Stephan
