YM: Sorry maybe I misunderstood you. But there is no file with name like imbapi.c, imb_api.h, ipmi_ioctls.h or ipmimv.c in OpenIPMI source tree.
In my memory, it seems the files you mentioned are from Intel's imb driver. BTW, there is a ipmicmd program, the ipmicmd.c is its source code. That is why I want to know the motivation to link a interactive cmd command as library.
