Hi.

I need to access IPMI from LAN in both Windows/Linux OS.

So I try to run OpenIpmi 1.8.9 in Ubuntu 7.0.4 and in Windows (with and
without Cygwin).

Well, I will put another thread to Ubuntu problem and in this I will
talk only about Windows.

First I try to convert the source code to work native in Windows, but
after a week without problems in that, I start to understand that's will
be almost impossible because of signal and process, and there are a lot
of work in File Access and Socket Connections.

So I decided to use Cygwin instead of convert the source code from my
notebook, and that's compile very well in first shot!

The problem is that my notebook is a Windows XP and that need to work in
all Windows family from Windows XP and after that, so I put the
ipmitool.exe in Windows 2003 Server and run, and no problem at this point.

But things start to going wrong when I try (in both Windows 2003 Server
and my notebook):

ipmitool -I open shell
Error loading interface open

ipmitool -H <hostname> -P admin (I think thats the default for Dell
6450) -I lan chassis status
Error: Unable to establish LAN session
Error sending Chassis Status command

So, anyone have any idea? I don't know what else to do...

Thanks.
