Hi,
I have a question regarding the ipmi_poweroff module use on ATCA blades.
What is supposed to be the behavior of an ATCA blade running Linux with the
ipmi_poweroff module loaded when the handles are pulled to trigger an
hotswap event?
Is ipmi_poweroff is supposed to handle the hotswap event telling Linux to do
a graceful reboot?
I have that module loaded on several ATCA blade models and looking at the
consoles I don't see the Linux shutting down and then boom the boards reboot
without un-mounting things properly etc.
I tried with acpid on and off. Didn't change anything... Any other thing I
am missing here?
