I have a question about using ipmi_watchdog, ipmitool, and another open source program ipmisensors together at the same time.
ipmitool uses the /dev/ipmi0 char interface. So does (can) ipmi_watchdog. ipmisensors uses ipmi_settime(..) to send messages via KCS. Question: is there any type of file locking going on for /dev/ipmi0 device when two programs attempt to use the /dev/ipmi0 interface? Thanks.
