I reported this bug in the first cut of ubuntu 11.04 beta. It was corrected with a subsequent updates BUT it appears again.
It's a funky little bug - eclipse would crash every now and then when Ctrl-V (Paste) was used, then it would always crash with Ctrl-V, then crash when any key was pressed, then it would crash at the first mouse movement, and finally eclipse would crash on startup. Attached is the latest hs_err_pid log file. ** Attachment added: "hs_err_pid2773.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openjdk-6/+bug/643742/+attachment/2183123/+files/hs_err_pid2773.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of OpenJDK, which is subscribed to openjdk-6 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/643742 Title: eclipse crashes in JVM Status in “openjdk-6” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: # # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x0025bec6, pid=20301, tid=3077768896 # # JRE version: 6.0_18-b18 # Java VM: OpenJDK Client VM (16.0-b13 mixed mode, sharing linux-x86 ) # Derivative: IcedTea6 1.8 # Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10, package 6b18-1.8-4ubuntu3~9.10.2 # Problematic frame: # C [libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0+0x3dec6] # This occurs every time I try to enter the package name in Eclipse Ganymede, using the Android plugin.
