Hi, I see the same problem here, and unfortunately, I can't find the icedtea-netx here, on Debian Wheezy.
Please understand that a lot of users don't actually care about Java that much and just want to use "that application over there". My case is with the KGS Go Server application, which would probably work fine in Squeeze but is now completely unusable in Wheezy. I am quite surprised that javaws has disappeared from the JRE without warning or explanation, or working alternative for that matter. It is quite unfortunate. A. --
