The first release of the COLLADA importer C14ModelImporterJFX is now
available.
The ModelBrowserJFX is correspondingly updated and enhanced with a tree
and table based file system browser. It also provides an FXML export of
the loaded scene graph.

without any timeline. Just want to inform you about the first release

and how JavaFX 3D and COLLADA fits into the JavaFX picture.
