-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello everyone!
I'm trying to build OpenJFX (8u60) on openSUSE 13.2 and got the following for the SDK task: [...] Internal error. Missing resources [/resources/web-files/javafx-loading-100x100.gif] com.sun.javafx.tools.packager.PackagerException: Error: -includedt requires the java deployment toolkit, which is not included in this distribution [...] FAILURE: Build failed with an exception. * Where: Build file '/home/javier/projects/rt/build.gradle' line: 3263 * What went wrong: Execution failed for task ':apps:appsJarLinux'. > The following error occurred while executing this line: /home/javier/projects/rt/apps/scenebuilder/build.xml:14: The following error occurred while executing this line: /home/javier/projects/rt/apps/scenebuilder/samples/build.xml:9: The following error occurred while executing this line: /home/javier/projects/rt/apps/scenebuilder/samples/AirportApp/nbproject/jfx-impl.xml:1465: The following error occurred while executing this line: /home/javier/projects/rt/apps/scenebuilder/samples/AirportApp/nbproject/jfx-impl.xml:2969: The following error occurred while executing this line: /home/javier/projects/rt/apps/scenebuilder/samples/AirportApp/nbproject/jfx-impl.xml:2055: Error: Bundler "WebStart JNLP Bundler" (jnlp) failed to produce a bundle. If I comment the line mentioned above (3263), it builds successfully. Nevertheless, If I copy the SDK overlay to the JDK path and try to build a JavaFX sample application on NetBeans 8.0.2, I get the same error about the missing resources and the not included java deployment toolkit. I have come across a message on this mailing list about that; "hg: openjfx/8u-dev/rt: RT-35778: Packager should use closed source version of deployment toolkit" http://mail.openjdk.java.net/pipermail/openjfx-dev/2014-February/012656.html thanks to a Debian bug report; "openjfx: fxpackager missing files" https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=771514 I would like to know if there are any plans to make the required resources open source so that OpenJFX is usable on NetBeans. Thanks.
