Does JavaFX have a policy regarding support for Windows 10 versions? I’m seeing
code come through that jumps through hoops to ensure proper operation on the
earliest versions of Windows 10. That dates back more than ten years which
exceeds Microsoft’s longest support window (which is targeted at customers who
don’t intend to install new software to begin with).

On the one hand it seems right that we should follow Microsoft’s five-year
enterprise window and only support Win10 2021 (21H2) and beyond. On the other
hand that would mean ending all Win10 support in JavaFX by 2027 which seems
unlikely. There’s a lot of Win10 boxes out there. I imagine most of them are up
to date but we could still have a bunch of 21H2 and 22H2 systems floating
around for a long time.

Just maintaining a test environment will become a challenge as the retail
channels dry up. What versions are used for running the automated tests
currently?
