Hi You do not need a proxy for localhost. Your error is probably is to do with the featureNS. In geoserver go to workspaces, click on whichever one you have stored your data in, the Namespace URI is what you need to put for featureNS.
For example if your data is stored in topp your featureNS wil be: http://www.openplans.org/topp If you create your own workspace you enter the Namespace URI into geoserver. You can enter anything such as http://test.com and as long as you enter the same value in openlayers it will work fine. This is for sure with localhost I haven’t hosted online. Good luck! -- View this message in context: http://osgeo-org.1803224.n2.nabble.com/WFS-via-Geoserver-tp6703325p6703782.html Sent from the OpenLayers Users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
