There are 2 ways to do it: 1. traverse through all features, and see if the are in the bbox. see contains under bounds (http://dev.openlayers.org/docs/files/OpenLayers/BaseTypes/Bounds-js.html) 2. Make a filter, and copy the output to the other layer…. (http://dev.openlayers.org/docs/files/OpenLayers/Filter/Spatial-js.html)
