Are you using the compressed OL version (only use lib/ version for
debugging).
Best way to diagnose the problem is use either Chrome (Tools|Developer
Tools) or Firebug and look at the Net tab. It shows all the requests
that your page is making, what the return status is, how big is the
response and how long each one takes. This should
help you zero in on the problem.
