Well, it really depends on what You want/need. I've yet to find a webhost that has geoserver or even postgis installed.
So either You should get a vps, or live with half solutions. (like not serving any his data through wms/wfs, but through geojson and such. My advice: get a vps that has a propper backup schedule and get it to work exactly according to your specs. Good luck :-) Casper From: Brad Bordine Sent: 18-9-2013 17:47 To: [email protected] Subject: [OpenLayers-Users] Recomnmended GIS Geoserver hosting companies My organization is looking for options for changing our hosting, we have had a very bad crash and are unable to get responsive support at acugis, our current host. As our project is maturing and receiving attention the demand on our resources is also increasing. We are looking for a robust host platform and definitely prefer a company with telephone capabilities, it is not satisfying to leave a voicemail in this situation. So the question then is, which GIS oriented hosting companies provide a satisfying level of tech support alongside a reasonable yet robust service plan? _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users _______________________________________________ Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.osgeo.org/mailman/listinfo/openlayers-users
