[OpenLayers-Users] Ecxeption Handling with the transactions

Hi people, i have a doubt, i need to know when i ask geoserver with a 
wfs,wfs-t or wms's requests some times geoserver hung or the database 
hungs too, how using openlayers can i handle that, i need to know that 
in runtime to notify the user or know what to do in that moment, help 
please.
