I've noticed on several occasions that test039-glue-ldap-concurrency
takes an extremely long time to run. Currently, on my dev box it is at

funky about Solaris?
It gets to a certain point, and then just seems to hang for ages before

I finally killed this test after two hours... Subsequent runs have
only taken about 10 minutes. It makes me think there may be an issue
in what is being tested here, that is only triggered some of the
time. I'm attempting to see if I can recreate this state.
Just hit this again, with Linux on a dual Athlon PC. The test appeared
to be hung, but it was not: multiple threads were waiting on a libldap
mutex while one was endlessly spinning on ldap_int_select() inside
wait4msg(). But the remote server was doing just nothing, because it
didn't even know it was supposed to send anything. This was in response
to a ldap_modify_ext() that succeeded. I couldn't gather any extra
meaningful info. There's no need to say that the very same test on the
very same machine under similar load successfully repeated thes of times
in seconds after that.
