My 2.3.6 test master server is no longer stable, and crashes in syncprov every time, after a process made modifications to it today. Just a heads up if 2.3.7 is in progress, we may want to hold on this.
After more evaluation, ITS#3989. It seems to be coming from a conflict between the uniqueness overlay and syncprov.
