Just for testing purposes I set the permissions on ldap.keytab to 777 and no luck.
As for a ticket, I do have a ticket. Klist has ldap/[EMAIL PROTECTED] listed... ldap/[EMAIL PROTECTED] being my principle and the ticket time period is right. Thanks for everyone's help! ________________________________________ Chip Burke -----Original Message----- From: Paul Kölle [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, February 02, 2006 6:12 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: GSSAPI Error Chip Burke wrote: > and I get the following error: > > SASL/GSSAPI authentication started > Ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: Internal (implementation specific) error (80) > Additional info: SASL(-1): generic failure: GASSAPI Error: > Miscellaneous failure (No such file or directory) two questions: 1. do you have a service ticket (after running ldapsearch?) 2. check fs permissions on the keytab file (must be readable by slapd) cheers Paul
