Bug description:
If you edit a song the author and topic combo boxes allow you to enter new data
manually which is then recognised as new and confirmation sought from the user.
This behaviour is not the same for the song book combo where the field accepts
the data but then doesn't save it. No notification, confirmation, error or
trace is given - the data is just lost.
