Thus it happens, that the 'outline characters' and the 'shadow characters' are shifted towards each other. To show the effect one has to create a theme with a outline. It depends on the words if this happens. So you might have to look at a couple of different slides. Sample configuration: Main area font: DejaVu Sans | 34pt | bold | outline 1pt It looks, that there are basic differences in the kerning algorithms, as the problem is strong at characters like a capital 'T' followed by a half height letter. --- Build: current bzr (revno: 1486) Platform: Linux-2.6.38-2-amd64-x86_64-with-debian-wheezy-sid Desktop: KDE SC --- Library Versions --- Python: 2.6.6 Qt4: 4.7.2 Phonon: 4.5.0 PyQt4: 4.8.3 SQLAlchemy: 0.6.6 BeautifulSoup: 3.2.0 lxml: 2.3.0 Chardet: 2.0.1 PyEnchant: 1.5.3 PySQLite: 1.0.1 _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~openlp-core Post to : openlp-core@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~openlp-core More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
