Single-click preview functionality has been added to the service manager for 2.6.

The only bad thing is, that doubleclick in songs/images list on left pane already uses double click for preview, so it would be an exception, single click and middle click would preview, doubleclick send to live. This way nobody really would need to "relearn" it, it would be very obvious.
