George Kirkham created OPENMEETINGS-239:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Calendar Event details Comment/Description field text can
overflow the boundary of the Description field of the Meeting Room's Event
details dialog box
                 Key: OPENMEETINGS-239
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-239
             Project: Openmeetings
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: BuildsAndReleases
Affects Versions: 2.0 Apache Incubator Release
         Environment: Debian Squeeze,
openmeetings-2.0.0.r1328537-20-04-2012_2319.tar.gz (Build #43)
            Reporter: George Kirkham
            Assignee: SebastianWagner
            Priority: Minor
Fix For: 2.0 Apache Incubator Release

When the Calendar Event details Comment/Description field contains a lot of
text, the text can overflow the boundary of the Description field of the
Meeting Room's Event details dialog box.

To restat the issue, when the event description is very large and takes up more
than the display size field of the meeting's event dialog box. The text then
flows down the Whiteboard area, flowing outside the meeting's event dialog box.
Sadly this does not look all that great on the screen and Users tend to be a
bit dismayed by the extra text on the screen flowing over the top of the
meetings dialog box and anything that is on the whiteboard.

The scroll bars of the Meeting Room's Event details dialog box does scroll the
text but up and down the screen, if there is that much text.

Please see the attached images which should explain the problem much better
than I can with words.
