This issue contains a patch which provides a possibility to send sms as an
appointment reminder.
Such sms is sent together with the appointment reminder e-mails under the same
conditions if “Phone” field of the given attendee is filled with some value and
"Send SMS" switch is turned on.
To make this working the following settings should be added via Administration
-> Configuration menu item:
- sms.provider – SMS provider which would send SMS
- sms.Username – the login name of the user registered on sms provider
- sms.Userpass - user password on sms provider
Please note that different SMS providers can use different APIs, so probably
given code will not work with some of them. I tried it with bulkSMS
(http://www.bulksms.com/) and all was OK.
