Mikael Kurula created OPENMEETINGS-494:
------------------------------------------
Summary: Recording gives frame rate of 2 fps
Key: OPENMEETINGS-494
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OPENMEETINGS-494
Project: Openmeetings
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 2.1 Apache Incubator Release
Environment: CentOS 6 and Ubuntu 12.04 servers, Macbook pro and
Windows 7 clients. Flash 11.5.502.13x, Java 1.6.something on both server and
client
Reporter: Mikael Kurula
Priority: Critical
When I record with any quality except for "very high quality", I get a frame
rate of only about 2 fps. When I use the "very high quality", my video plays
back at a higher frame rate, but it seems a lot of frames are missing, so in
practice the video plays back approximately 5-10 times too fast.
I am using recommended versions of both swftools and ffmpeg, but I don't think
it's an ffmpeg issue, since already the raw .flv stream fed to ffmpeg has
broken frame rate.
This effectively prevents me from using openmeetings in my work.
