Comment #25 on issue 876 by [email protected]: UTF-8 support broken in Linux and MacOsX - workaround available http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/issues/detail?id=876
I'd suggest you test it on our live site - www.openstreetmap.org. Register an account; go to a random place in the world with some streets and zoom in; click 'Edit', then 'Edit with save'. Click on a street, and all the tags will appear in the bottom panel. Go into these textfields and type some characters. Do they work? If so, then the fault is with your implementation; if not, then the fault is with my code! If you'd like to copy and paste from somewhere that WordPress hasn't screwed up, try http://svn.openstreetmap.org/applications/editors/potlatch/properties.as . The character definitions are at the start of the file, the fixUTF8 routine at the end. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
